How are the beds arranged, and how many people can the room sleep?
You can have one king bed or two double beds. The room sleeps up to 4 guests in a 407 sq. ft. one-bedroom layout with a sitting area. A free crib is available, and connecting rooms can be arranged for larger groups.
What is the bathroom like?
The private bathroom has a jetted bathtub and a shower/bathtub combination with a rainfall showerhead. It comes stocked with soap, shampoo, free toiletries, towels and a hair dryer. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not supplied, so pack your own.

How do dining and the pools work for guests in this room?
The Yucatan Restaurant is the main buffet and needs no reservation. Specialty restaurants such as Tequila, Don Pablo and Mikado require reservations. Don Pablo asks gentlemen to wear long pants and a sleeved shirt. Pools include a main pool with a swim-up bar and a quieter Jacuzzi and solarium pool with no swim-up bar or entertainment noise, which is the calmer choice. The lobby bar has live entertainment until 1 AM, so ask the resort about room location if quiet matters most.
What should I know about getting here and arriving?
The resort is on the Chetumal–Cancún highway in Akumal, roughly between Akumal Beach and Tulum. The drive from Cancún Airport takes about 1 hour 15–20 minutes, and Tulum International Airport is about 41 km away. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at noon. The main guest must be at least 18, and pets are not allowed.
What is there to do nearby outside the resort?
Akumal Beach, known for snorkelling with green sea turtles, is a short drive of about 10 minutes. Early morning is the quietest time to go. Xel-Há water park, the Tulum ruins and cenotes such as Dos Ojos are all within a drive along Highway 307.
