What are check-in times, and how far is the resort from the airport?
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. The main guest must be at least 18. The resort is about 1 hour 15–20 minutes by car from Cancún International Airport. Tulum's airport is nearer, about 41 km away. Akumal Beach, known for turtle snorkeling, is roughly a 10-minute drive.
Is Bahia Principe Grand Tulum the same resort as Bahia Principe Explore Tulum?
Yes. The resort has been renamed Bahia Principe Explore Tulum, though many booking sites still use the Grand Tulum name. It is a family resort in Akumal, between Akumal Beach and Tulum on Highway 307.
